GETTING THERE
By car:
On arrival in your own car, you should note that for the Romanian national roads vignette is copulsory - it is best to buy the "Rovinieta" right at the border crossing. The major border crossings are Bors / Oradea and Nadlac / Arad. The main transport routes are usually well developed, but secondary roads are often littered with potholes or without asphalt. We recommend Via Michelin route planner. With your voucher, you will receive directions to your cottage.
By plane:
The major airports for air travellers are Bucharest (Cheap flights), Sibiu (scheduled flights from Munich and Vienna / Attention: time Bucharest - Sibiu 4 - 5 h!), Cluj-Napoca (Cheap flight from Dortmund, scheduled flights from various German cities and Vienna) and Targu Mures (Scheduled flights).
As the accommodation is usually situated outside of the cities, we recommend arriving by private vehicle or rental car.
By train:
Depending on the location of the holiday house, the train journey could be a good and relaxed way to travel.
